In Great Britain, it is the norm that court proceedings are accompanied by experts, specialists and experts from various fields. Their knowledge and experience allow us to determine the facts of the case and its conditions. There are many social institutions in this country that are involved in particular in cases pending before the family court. They help to better understand the child’s needs and present his/her living environment and family.
In addition to the legislation that regulates the protection of children’s rights, in 2018 the Department of Education prepared a document called „Working together to safeguard children”, which is a course on the practice of protecting children’s rights. It transfers responsibility for children’s safety to those involved in working with them. These people are responsible for identifying problems of children and their families. In this work, the author presents institutions operating in the manner described, which are oriented in their actions to the protection of children’s rights.
